Who is this service for?

We designed our services for U.S. citizens living abroad who need FBI-compliant fingerprints or an FBI background check. Common uses include employment checks, visa/residency renewals, citizenship applications, VFS appointments, adoption paperwork, and professional licensing.

If you're a national of another country (e.g. Canada) that accepts FBI FD-258 forms for background check purposes, please reach out to us as we can likely help in your submission process.

What’s the difference between the fingerprint-only and full-service options?

Full-service: we capture your prints and securely submit them through our approved U.S. channel partner; your official FBI background check PDF arrives in your email. Ideal for tight timelines and when you’re managing the apostille process.

Fingerprint-only: we digitally capture your prints and provide two FD-258 cards at your appointment.

What makes your service unique?

We’re American-owned and built by expats who have done this themselves. Instead of ink prints, we use modern, end-to-end FBI-certified equipment, offer simple, transparent packages, and back every capture with our Quality Guarantee.

How long does the appointment take?

Most appointments take 20-40 minutes. If you’ve had difficulty getting readable prints before, plan for the longer end—we’ll take the time to get it right.

How soon will I receive my background check results?

For the full-service option, results are typically delivered to your email within 5 business days of your appointment.

Do you offer apostille services?

We do not offer apostille services. We recommend Monument Visa for your apostille requirements.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

For all appointments it is necessary to bring your passport and booking confirmation (digital).

For Full-service appointments, it is necessary to also provide two copies of valid government ID: a) your passport (1 copy) and other ID such as a Drivers License or Residency Card (1 copy)

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Moisturize your fingertips before bed, starting 2-3 nights before your appointment. Avoid lotions or oils on the day of your appointment and arrive with clean, dry hands.

How can I access my FBI background check?

If you choose full-service, your official FBI background check PDF is delivered to the email you provide. To open/download it, you’ll need to use a VPN set to a U.S.-based IP (required to access federal systems).

I’ve had trouble getting fingerprints done in the past—will you be able to capture mine?

In most cases, yes. Our digital capture, FBI-certified equipment provides real time print quality readings allowing us to ensure that we're only submitting high quality prints.

Are your scanners and software FBI certified?

Yes. We use only FBI-certified hardware and software that meet NGI Image Quality Specifications (IQS). Every capture follows tested workflows designed for high acceptance rates.

What happens if the FBI rejects my prints?

You’re covered by our Quality Guarantee. If the FBI rejects your prints for quality reasons, we’ll recapture them free of charge so you can move forward without added stress.
